My name is Shawn Manderscheid, one of the many MR2 enthusiasts out there!  In 1996, I owned my first MR2.  It was a Crimson Red 1991 Turbo with removable sunroof, black leather interior, and all the extras.  This car was my introduction to one of the greatest sports cars offered in North America to date.

In September of '99, I bought my second MR2. This time I got a Super Red '93 Turbo. After owning the car for a year or so, a friend and I began to modify the engine slightly. We did the basic upgrades for power such as upgrading the intake, intercooler, spark plugs, exhaust, blow-off valve, manual boost controller, and a turbo upgrade to the stock CT-26 turbo.

On the 16th day of February, 2001, I bought my third MR2. This time another '93 Turbo but Steel Mist Grey in color. I may have just purchased the car of my dreams!

Added on 5/6/02:

 I now have added an Accel DFI, gen. VII standalone ecu, Greddy TD-06SH kit with ATS adaptor and Hux Tial 40mm external wastegate mod, Supra 550cc injectors, and Blitz EGT gauge.  I also had the exhaust housing of the TD-06, exhaust manifold, intercooler piping, Hux EGR blockoff plates,  and the valvecover ceramic coated in silver.  Bob Norwood will now be tuning my MR2 to handle up to 20 psi.
